Hyderabad: 60 tola gold, cash stolen from house

According to the police, the acused entered the house from the kitchen window on the backside.

Hyderabad: Burglars broke into a house in Langer Houz and decamped with about 60 tola gold ornaments and Rs 1.5 lakh cash on Tuesday night. 

According to the police, the acused entered the house from the kitchen window on the backside. “Shiek Riyazuddin, the owner of the house, lodged a complaint stating that the men broke in after he went to work in the morning and his family went out to a function in Borabanda later in the evening,” Langer Houz police said. 

When he returned in the night around 11 pm, an almirah in a room was open and jewellery and cash were missing, he said in the complaint. The Langer Houz police, along with the CLUES team and dog squad, visited the spot. 

The burglars broke open the kitchen window latch and entered the house, police said. A case was booked under relevant Sections of the IPC and an investigation was started.
