Another grand reunion

In what has become an annual tradition, the actors and actresses of South Indian cinema in the ’80s had their reunion last week. Hosted by Suhasini and Lizzy, the celebration marked their eighth such get-together. A grand bash was held at a resort in the beach destination of Mahabalipuram with several leading names marking their presence. The theme for the November 17 gathering was purple. 28 stars attended the do. However, several of the regulars, including Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Balakrishna and Nagarjuna gave it a miss this year.
