Trisha’s career is going great guns these days! With several movies in her kitty, the svelte lady has been roped in for an intriguing thriller titled Paramapadham Vilayaattu, which is directed by Thirugnanam and has top cinematographer R.D. Rajashekar cranking the camera. An excited director spills the beans about the film in an exclusive to DC. “Trisha has done action and horror movies in the past. But Paramapadham... will project her in a totally new dimension. When I went and narrated the script to Trisha, I had not finalised the crew and other cast. She was impressed with the story and immediately agreed to be part of the project. She plays a doctor, who will be kidnapped by the antagonist’s group. How she overcomes the hurdles and escape the situation with her intelligent and bold moves forms the rest.”

Talking about her dedication and focus he says, “Every time she completes a shot, she would faithfully ask, ‘is that enough? Or should I go for one more take?”. That is the kind of commitment she has.” Elaborating more he reveals, “The first schedule was canned in the forest area of Yercaud. We needed a place like that where the doctor is being kidnapped. There were a few action sequences involved in those scenes. Action choreographer Stunner Sham is in charge of stunts. Though, we insisted that we could use a body double, Trisha was keen to do them all by herself. They are not the typical fight-fight kind of actions; they are more of brainy and sharp feats.”

The VTV actress will be sporting simple yet stylish costumes like the linen cargo pants etc in the film, discloses Thirugnanam.

The movie will be at par with Hollywood standards in terms of look and feel, the director claims. While Richard will be portraying a colour blind for the first time, Nandha will also be seen in a crucial role. However, Trisha does not have a pair in the movie which has music by Amresh.
