Actor Irrfan Khan is also prepping up for the film based on the gangster Sapna Didi alongside Deepika Padukone.

Mumbai: Irrfan Khan, who has touched upon various unconventional stories with his films, doesn’t hesitate to talk openly with his children about “taboo” topics either. The actor, who will be seen romancing Parvathy in Qarib Qarib Singlle, says he wasn’t hesitant to do so despite having his son Babil Khan on the sets. In fact, he reveals he took some tips from his teenage son.

“I took his cap from him and used it as part of my costumes. We are open about relationships. There is no hesitation or embarrassment discussing with him any kind of relationship even if it is sexual. There should be a space where you can discuss,” says Irrfan, adding, “Every parent knows that it is difficult to communicate with your children because they have a mind of their own. They are exposed to so many things now. It is better to have a friendly relationship with your children.”

Babil was the camera assistant in Tanuja Chandra’s Qarib Qarib Singlle. However, Irrfan reveals this that’s not any sign that he is getting into films. He says, “He was having gap year so thought about exploring this medium. There is no sign that he will take up a career in this space. He has to find his own interests. I am not going to push him to any direction.”
