Worried by fire at building, Aishwarya wants mother Brinda Rai to move in with her
Aishwarya seems worried about her mother living alone.
A fire broke out in La Mer, a highrise building in Mumbai, on Tuesday. One of the well-known names residing in the building is Brinda Rai, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother. The house has been Ash’s parents’ home for close to 20 years. Even the actress lived in the house for very long till she married Abhishek Bachchan. However, after the fire, there’s a concern over Brinda’s safety.
A source close to Ash says, “Abhishek and Aishwarya are worried about her living alone in the residence after Brinda’s husband passed away earlier this year. They have been persuading her to stay with them, so she could be close to granddaughter Aaradhya. But Brinda has been hesitant.” Apparently Ash and Abhi are adamant that she move in with them. According to a family member, “Aishwarya’s mom’s resistance to the idea of changing residences is finally dissolving.”
