Ileana D'Cruz harassed by stalkers
The well-known actress, who was chased by a group of six men recently, was rattled and did not know what to do during the incident.
Popular actress, Ileana D’Cruz took to Twitter to express her anger after being harassed by a group of men on Sunday. On August 20, when the 29-year-old was on her way to the Lakme Fashion Week, where she walked the ramp as a showstopper for De Belle, she was halted at a traffic signal by six men, who banged and pressed themselves against the car and laughed while lying on the bonnet.
Talking about personal space and fan antics, the actress tweeted this message in two parts: “It’s a pretty shitty world we live in. I’m a public figure. I understand that I don’t have the luxury of a private & an anonymous life.(1/2) But that doesn’t give any man the right to misbehave with me. Don’t confuse “fan antics” with that. I am a WOMAN at the end of the day. (2/2)(sic)”
The Baadshaho actress also claimed that the incident could have become worse had it not been for her chauffeur — it could have emboldened the harassers to misbehave with her. And this is why, post the incident, Ileana is also considering hiring a personal bodyguard.
