No pay cut for Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor
Now we are being told that there have been cuts on everyone else's salary and bills, but not from Sonam and Kareena's pay.
The makers of the film Veere Di Wedding were on a cost-cutting spree and we had reported how Sonam Kapoor has been actively working with her sister Rhea to cut costs. Meanwhile, there was a rumour as well that Sonam apart from the film’s big star Kareena Kapoor had taken a salary cut instead of billing a ‘vishal sikka’ to the film’s budget.
It was being said that Kareena had herself offered to bring her monies down if Sonam was ready to go down on her monies so they could make a safe project. Now we are being told that there have been cuts on everyone else’s salary and bills, but not from Sonam and Kareena’s pay.
Veere Di Wedding, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, has gone on floors already in New Delhi and Kareena too had posted a fun video on her social media where she was responding to fans asking her where Taimur was and why he was not seen in the selfies put up by the girls. “Where is Tamur?” exclaims Kareena with a funny expression.
The producer Rhea Kapoor butts in. “He has been banned from the sets. He is in the hotel,” she replies. Kareena then responds with another funny one, “I need a bodyguard. He needs an army!”
