Alia Bhatt is in love with both Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur

Mumbai: If reports are to be believed, we would be seeing a great casting coup by Karan Johar in a film under his banner Dharma Productions. The film is titled Shiddat and it is to be directed by Abhishek Verman who previously helmed 2014’s box office hit 2 States starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor.

It is speculated that Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor will be seen sharing the screen space in a love triangle.  As per a report in a leading daily, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor will be cast as brothers who will fall for the same girl that is, Alia Bhatt.

The movie is set during the Indo-Pak era, Varun and Aditya will be seen having a strained relationship in the movie. Sources have informed, “Varun and Aditya will be playing brothers in the film, while Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt will play their parents. The two brothers will have a strained relationship throughout the film. While Varun and Aditya play brothers, Alia is the bone of contention between them. So it’s a love triangle as well.”

Sources also said that fashion designer Manish Malhotra has already started working on the costumes for Alia Bhatt.  

The official announcement about casting is expected soon from the makers. The film is all set to go on floors early next year.
