Pakistan Army is on board for probe

The Pak PM also pledged to cooperate with India to fight terrorism.

Islamabad: Despite claiming the evidence by India was not enough, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ordered full investigations into New Delhi’s leads on the Pathankot attack, officials said Friday.

The PM also pledged to cooperate with India to fight terrorism, and this was backed by the all-powerful military, that signalled approval at a high-level meeting with the PM on Friday.

Friday’s meet was attended by top ministers, Pakistan Army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif and intelligence chiefs. Gen. Sharif was not at the PM’s late Thursday meeting.

This comes after India linked the foreign secretary-level talks, due next Friday, on Pakistan’s action against the Pathankot plotters.
