Comparisons are bound to happen: Arya

Arya and Rana Daggubati are coming together for Bangalore Naatkal.

Chennai: Arya and Rana Daggubati, who are friends for a long time, are coming together for Bangalore Naatkal, a multi-starrer, which also marks the foray of the Tollywood biggie Bommarillu Bhaskar in K’town. A remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days, this film also features Bobby Simha, Sri Divya, Parvathy, Raai Laxmi, Samantha and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.

The teaser of Bangalore Natkal was launched recently in the city. We could see the entire team brimming with energy and the camaraderie they shared was quite evident! Arya said, “I loved the original film, which set a new trend in Malayalam cinema. Bhaskar sir has taken so much effort to give a classic product. And yes, comparisons are bound to happen when somebody remakes a film. Never mind, we all have given our best.”

The Raja Rani actor, known for his sense of humour, pulled Rana’s leg while describing the character he plays in the film, “Rana reprises Fahadh’s role in Tamil. In the flashback, he has a room filled with photos and other belongings of his girlfriend. In his real-life flashback, I guess there would be a entire museum for his many girlfriends!” “Jokes apart, he’s done a great job,” Arya added, amicably.
