Muslim family values stopped ISIS growth: Rajnath Singh

Mr Singh observed that Muslim families play a stellar role in preventing their children.
Bengaluru: Lauding the efforts made by Muslim families to discourage youngsters from joining the dreaded ISIS, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh asserted that it was because of strong family values that the terror organization was unable to penetrate the country.
Speaking at the Adamya Chetana Seva Utsav 2015-16 held here, Mr Singh observed that Muslim families play a stellar role in preventing their children from getting hoodwinked by ISIS. “Families which follow Islam, are playing an important role in stopping their children from getting attracted to ISIS. I am very proud to say this,” he contended. Citing examples of several countries where ISIS activity is on the surge, he said the idea of joining the outfit had not caught up among youngsters in India.
Governor V.R. Vala appealed to people to stand up to the challenge of terrorism and give a fitting reply to its perpetrators.
