Mumbai: It is known that Sagarika Ghatge who shot to fame through her debut film 'Chak De! India' has her roots in Kolhapur. The actress, who is born in a royal family headed back home to attend a family wedding. She looked breathtaking beautiful in a cream-and-gold sari, with gold jewellery and mogra in her hair.
Sagarika, best known as the fiery Preeti Sabarwal from 'Chak De India', had offers pouring in from all corners after the film had released. It has been seven years and even now people identify her as Preeti. The actress could have easily cashed in on her fame, but she wanted to take it slow. Now, she has been roped in for Arshad Warsi's 'Irada'.
