Micromax launches yet another 4G-enabled smartphone at Rs 6,821

The Canvas Pace 4G is the third device announced by the company this month

Mumbai: According to information displayed on Micromax’s official website, the company is all set to roll out yet another 4G-enabled smartphone in October.

After recently announcing the Micromax Canvas 4G Express, the company has soft-launched the Canvas Pace 4G, which is essentially an entry-level smartphone with one unique feature—4G radio.

The Canvas Pace 4G sports a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels. At the core, the device utilises a 1.1Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor accompanied by 1GB RAM.

In terms of storage, the handset has an internal capacity of 8GB, which can be extended up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The handset features a 5MP rear camera set-up with a single LED flash on the rear, and a 2MP camera on the front for selfies.

The Canvas Pace 4G runs on an Android Lollipop 5.0 OS, which is good for a low-cost device. A 2,500mAh battery powers the handset. Even though Micromax has been successful in rolling out new devices in such quick succession, there remains a huge scope to improve their offerings.

The Canvas Pace 4G is currently available at Rs 6,821 on Ebay and also on the company’s official website.
