Vijayawada: BJP state yuva morcha lodged a complaint against actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao for their comments on intolerance in the country.
The BJP leaders met police commissioner Gautam Sawang and lodged a complaint seeking action against the couple. The leaders said that the couple tried to create a dispute among the people in society in the name of religion. The leaders wondered how the couple felt like leaving the country when all people of religions are living in the country peacefully.
The actor’s comments not only hurt Indians but also created disarray among the various religions. BJYM state vice president Chikkla Rajanikanth, city president Harish Vyas, vice president Ch Ravindra Reddy and several leaders were also present.
