Andhra Pradesh CRDA calls tenders for architectural design

The consultant agency will be selected on December 14

Hyderabad: The AP Capital Development Authority issued a notification on Friday calling for tenders from architectural and urban design consultants. The last date for submitting tenders is December 11. The CRDA said that the consultants are experts in architecture and urban planning, landscape design and interior designs.

The scope of work will be government buildings like Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, CM's Office and others. The CRDA said that it has initiated a design competition for the concept design of the government complex with three leading international master architects.

In this context, the CRDA has decided to seek consultancy services from reputed architectural, landscape design and interior design firms to take up specific projects in the government complex within the framework of the urban design proposal of the government complex emerging from the winning proposal of the competition to be conducted in February 2016.

The CRDA said that the projects that would need architectural, urban design landscape design and interior design services as part of the government complex such as Secretariat and offices of Heads of Departments (HODs), Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister’s office, State guest house, VIP housing, staff housing, design of public spaces in the government complex and any other projects as identified by the CRDA are included in the tenders.

The consultants are from the fields of architecture and urban design firms, landscape design firms and interior design firms. The CRDA will conduct pre-bid meeting on December 4 and the bids will be opened on December 11. The consultant agency will be selected on December 14. CRDA has decided tentative area of buildings.
