The much awaited first look of Vijay’s 59th film, directed by Atlee, is out. While Khaki, Thaaru Maaru, Moondru Mugam, Chatriyan, Vetri, and Thuppakki 2 were considered to be the titles, now putting all the speculations to rest, the flick has been titled Theri. Interestingly, the title of Vijay 59 seems to have been inspired from the catch phrase Therikaavidalama from Ajith’s Vedalam. Vijay seems to play a stylish cop in the movie and there are rumours that he may be playing a double role as well. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.The poster, which was released has a fiery-looking Vijay with a gun in his hand. Meanwhile, the crew is off to Goa for shooting for the sequences between Vijay and Amy Jackson. Besides Samantha, Raadhika, KS Ravikumar, the film will have veteran director Mahendran playing antagonist in this action packed entertainer. Kalaipuli S Thanu bankrolls Theri while GV Prakash handles music.
