More rain predicted for Andhra Pradesh

Visakhapatnam: The Met officials here have informed that a trough of low over southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast with an upper air cyclonic circulation aloft had persisted, which could result in moderate to rather heavy rainfall at isolated places over south coastal AP and Rayalaseema in the next 24 to 48 hours.
“Rather heavy downpour would occur at isolated places of Nellore, Prakasam, Chittoor, Kadapa, Anantapur and Kurnool districts. Moderate rains are expected at isolated places of Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari during the next two days,” said a Met official at the Cyclone Warning Centre, Visakhapatnam.
