Biju Menon has proven his versatility time and gain and without doubt he can carry a film entirely on his shoulders, thanks to his spot-on comical sense. The latest news that is circulating is that Biju would be replacing Mammootty as the lead in Ranjith’s much talked-about project, Leela, which is based on Unni R.’s short story of the same name.
The film which has a very bold premise was reportedly offered to a lot of actors including Mohanlal, Shankar Ramakrishnan and then Mammootty, who all have been reluctant to take it up for reasons unknown. So, will Biju bite the bait and take on the role or will he be another name to join the list? Only time will tell.
