Will prove irregularities in redesign: Madhu Yaskhi

He demanded compensation to farmers
Karimnagar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesperson and former Nizamabad MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud claimed that he would prove irregularities in work relating to Pranahitha-Chevella major irrigation project, with relevant evidence. He spoke to reporters here on Wednesday. He was accompanied by DCC president K. Mruthyunjayam.
Mr Madhu Yaskhi stated that the reengineering of the irrigation was proposed for swindling public money and he would establish the wrongdoings with the help of appropriate evidence. He alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his son K. Taraka Rama Rao, nephew T. Harish Rao and daughter K. Kavita were plundering the state.
He ridiculed that the TRS government was not coming forward to waive off crop loans at once, but decided to extend financial aid of Rs 6 lakh to the kin of farmers who committed suicide due to crisis in the farming sector. The state would have not registered suicides, had the government announced the ex gratia a few months back, he remarked.
He slammed the government for not declaring drought-hit mandals even though the state was undergoing famine and for not paying arrears of sugarcane farmers as promised at the time of hustings. He demanded compensation to farmers whose crops were withered following scanty rainfall. At the time of separate statehood movement, TRS supremo K. Chandra-sekhar Rao assured that he would make Telangana an encounter-free state. But, innocent youth were being killed under the guise of extremists. The state has not witnessed any growth so far even after the TRS has completed 16 months in office. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is duping public with false promises, he flayed.
