Patna: Facing fierce attack from the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RJD chief Lalu Yadav on Friday urged him to have an open debate on the issue of good governance and reservation policy.
RJD chief Lalu Yadav in his tweet message stated “I challenge Mr. Modi to have an open debate with me on the issue of overall development, socio – economic justice, reservation policy, census and good governance”.
Adding further he wrote in his message “I defy him to come and have a debate on the issue, futile talks and your ‘Maan ki Baat’ are doing any benefit to the hungry and poor of this country”.
Lalu Yadav offended by regular personal attacks against him on the issue of beef eating and jungle raj on Friday said in a tweet message “Prime Minister, Amit Shah, 100 MPs including 50 ministers are recklessly running around in Bihar out of desperation and fear of losing the election and this has happened due to two sons of Bihar. You have lost this election return and take of your ministries”.
Reacting sharply on the issue senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi in his reply to Lalu Yadav’s tweet said “the era of Lalu Yadav was termed as Jungle Raj by high court and he is challenging Mr Modi to have an open debate on the issue of good governance with him. “He is just ridiculing himself by making such demands, Instead he should ask Nitish Kumar to concentrate on the plight of farmers”.
