Nalgonda: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a man near Anumula village in Nalgonda district in Telangana on Saturday, police said.
The main accused, S K Basha (25), was arrested along with his two friends, Saidhulu and Nagaiah who are charged for abetment, Halia police station Sub Inspector Sureshbabu said.
The accused and the victim belong to Anumula village in Halia mandal and knew each other, police said, adding that the accused kidnapped the girl, took her to an isolated place and then sexually assaulted her near the village.
Further investigation into the case is underway, he said.
