Watch: Ranbir and Deepika paint the town red in 'Matargashti'

The peppy number from 'Tamasha' has been sung by Mohit Chauhan

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor paint the town red in the first song, 'Matargashti', from their upcoming film 'Tamasha'. The peppy number has been sung by Mohit Chauhan whereas AR Rahman has scored the music. The song features breathtakingly beautiful French island of Corsica.

However, Ranbir clearly steals the show with mimicking everygreen actor Dev Anand and impeccable comic timing. Ranbir woos Deepika who plays an Asterix fan, the two form a troupe to stage plans and fall in love along the way.

Deepika and Ranbir were last seen together in 2013 blockbuster 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'. After a string of flops, Ranbir is banking on 'Tamasha' to regain his foothold in industry. Ranbir and Imtiaz have teamed up again after the acclaimed 'Rockstar' and Deepika and Imtiaz after 'Love Aaj Kal'. The film is slated to release on November 27.
