BJP to launch 3rd round of Yatra: BS Yeddyurappa

BJP had demanded waiver of loans taken from cooperative institutions
Shivamogga: Shivamogga MP and BJP national vice-president B.S. Yeddyurappa said here on Wednesday that farmers’ problems were increasing day-by-day and no action was being taken to stop farmer suicides.
Speaking after inaugurating a BJP divisional level workshop, Mr Yeddyurappa said that the BJP was taking out Raitha Chaitanya Yatre to wake up the inactive state government to address farmers’ problems. In the wake of the success of the second phase of the yatra, the BJP was thinking of organizing a third yatra, he said.
Mr Yeddyurappa said that during the previous yatra, the BJP had demanded waiver of loans taken from cooperative institutions. Responding to this, the government came up with the idea of waiving cooperative institution loans, he claimed.
