Hyderabad: The dermatologist who tried to sexually harass a beautician has been running the Geeta Medical Centre, Skin and Hair Clinic, at the Lal Bazaar Crossroads for more than 25 years. He gave her medicine for 15 days and on Monday, she went to the clinic for her second consultation. She reached the clinic at around 7 pm and the doctor sent the other patients away and took the victim into his chamber. His female assistant was on leave and he was alone.
“He gave her anaesthesia, due to which she became unconscious. He then molested her,” said Trimulgherry inspector R.S. Raju. Not being able to reach her on mobile, her fiancé arrived at the clinic at around 7.45 pm, where he found her in an unconscious state. Based on a complaint from the victim, the police registered a case of sexual harassment under Section 354 A of IPC.
