Here is the list of Sony smartphones getting the Android Marshmallow update

Most Xperia smartphones are included in the list
Sony Xperia and Android Marshmallow v6.0
Almost recently, Android released its latest operating system Marshmallow v6.0. Last week, Motorola published the list of its smartphones that are expected to receive the update. Today, Sony has also updated its blog with a list of smartphones that will be getting the Android v6.0 update. The list of the devices is as follows:
- Sony Xperia Z5
- Sony Xperia Z5 Compact
- Sony Xperia Z5 Premium
- Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet
- Sony Xperia Z3+
- Sony Xperia Z3
- Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
- Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact
- Sony Xperia Z2
- Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet
- Sony Xperia M5
- Sony Xperia C5 Ultra
- Sony Xperia M4 Aqua
- Sony Xperia C4
Albeit, Sony wants users to note that software rollouts are a phased process – timing and availability will vary by market and/or operator. Most models are supported by the new operating system but some operator/market exceptions will apply.
