iPhone 7: Apple’s next generation iPhone may sport A10 chipset, 4K display

Apple recently launched its 2015 flagships - the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus

Apple’s latest iPhone 6S and 6S Plus haven’t even shipped out worldwide and the rumours about the iPhone 7 are already blowing all around.

According to a tech leaker on Chinese social networking website Weibo, Apple has started to work on A10 chipsets for its next generation iPhone, which will supposedly be called the iPhone 7. The new chipset will compromise of up to six cores, in contrast to the two cores in the current iPhone. Further, Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) are expected to manufacture the A10 chip with a smaller 10nm production process.

Other than the A10 chipset, the iPhone 7 is rumoured to sport a 4K display, with a resolution four times higher than the current 1080 pixels of the iPhone 6S Plus.

Apple, however, hasn’t confirmed any of the above information.
