BENGALURU: The seer of Sri Ramachandrapura Math, Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swami, would be appearing for various medical tests, including potency test, at the Victoria Hospital on Wednesday.

The CID officials probing the rape cases filed by two women against the seer had issued a notice to him to appear for the tests on Wednesday, in connection with the first rape case filed by Ram Katha singer Premalatha.

The accused has been asked to be present for the tests at 9 am on Wednesday. “He has been asked to come in empty stomach for tests. The doctors in the medical board constituted in this regard will subject him to various tests,” a CID official said.

“As per the request of the CID officials, genital examination, semen analysis, papaverine test and doppler ultrasound test will be conducted on him. Through these tests, it will be determined whether he is potent or not,” sources in the Victoria Hospital said.

Meanwhile, the doctors have also been requested to make a list of the marks and moles on the body of the accused. “As the complainant had told that she had found certain marks and moles on his body, we have been asked to examine and make note of the marks,” sources added.
