Actress Vijayalakshmi and filmmaker Feroz got married as per Hindu traditions and rituals at a glittering event on Monday at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiyar Hall in the city.
Vijayalakshmi, daughter of national award-winning director Agathiyan, who started her acting career with Venkat Prabhu’s Chennai 28, has done more than 10 films. She was last seen in a movie titled Aadama Jaichomada. Feroz has worked as an assistant to directors like Gaurav in Thoonga Nagaram and Arivazhagan in Vallinam.
He has turned an independent filmmaker with Pandigai, which has been bankrolled by his wife Vijayalakshmi. Family members, close relatives and friends graced the wedding. Sources inform that the couple would follow their respective religions and Vijayalakshmi will not be acting in films anymore but will focus on her production ventures.
