Sandhya roped in for an item song in Katthukutti

Sandhya who made a sensational entry with the film Kaadhal vanished from the scene after doing several Tamil and Malayalam flicks within a short period. The dusky actress will be seen in an item song in the forthcoming film Katthukutti, which has Narain and Soori in the lead.

Directed by Saravanan, the movie features Srushti Dange as Narain’s pair. For a ‘kutthu’ number Chicken Naan Illada, Sokkan Nee Illada shot at the backdrop of a bar. We hear that there are several offers knocking at the door of Sandhya to perform item numbers. When contacted Sandhya says, “Don’t call it an item-song. I appear as myself in Katthukutti and the song has been labelled ‘Kaadhal Sandhya’ song. So, it’s a special number shot aesthetically. I committed to the project long back. Though, I have been flooded with offers for single song appearance, I am not keen on them and declined many.”
