VIJAYAWADA: In a conference that was held at Vijayawada Chambers of Commerce and Industry on Monday, members of the Chambers and other officials claimed that the upcoming entreprene-urs have a bright future in the capital region and ad-ded that it was the right time to start medium scale industries.
Speaking on the occasion, General manager of Small Scale Industrial Development Bank of India (SIDBI), G. Sampath Kumar said the bank is offering loans for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises at very low interest rates.
The conference also discussed the problems faced by the budding entrepreneurs.
Speaking on the role of banks and government in helping the entrepreneurs, Mr Sampath Kumar said that Sidbi has been offering easy and instant loans at very low interest rates from Rs 25,000 to Rs 25 crore.
“We are planning to give Rs 1,500 crore in the form of loans to MSME energy saving projects,” he added.
