TRS men attack ITI students at Sanathnagar

The fight happened over parking a car on the college campus
Hyderabad: A fight broke out between students of the government ITI at Sanathnagar and persons who claimed to be the activists of a political party over parking a car on the college campus. The activists reportedly entered classrooms and attacked the students, injuring them seriously.
Sources said Suresh Goud, a local leader of TRS, used to park his car on the government ITI campus at Czech Colony in Sanathnagar.
The students and faculty had asked him several times not to park on the campus, but he continued to do so. Whenever the students requested him to park the car at his place, his supporters objected, and the students had to backtrack fearing attacks.
On Sunday night he parked his car on the campus as usual. When he checked the car in the morning he found that it had been moved a few meters. Suspecting the students the leader and his men attacked them.
"We requested him many times but he never listened. Today, six of his men entered classrooms and attacked us thinking that we had moved the car,” said one of the students.
The injured students were shifted to a private hospital and is said to be recovering. However, Suresh Goud, who is into real estate, denied that he was a member of TRS and the allegations made against him by the students.
He said that he had never parked his car on the campus and did not attack anyone. He said the students had damaged his car.
“I am not connected to any political party. I parked the car near the campus wall. But they lifted it up and shifted it to the main road. The shock absorbers of the car were damaged,” claimed Mr Suresh Goud.
No complaint was lodged with the police regarding the incident by either the students or the owner of the car. “We did not receive any complaint from the students. If they lodge a complaint we shall investigate and initiate action,” said Sanathnagar inspector K. Sudershan Reddy.
