The short clip sees Mowgli wandering in a beautiful, lush jungle covered in vines
Mumbai: After a long wait, Disney has finally released the first teaser of their upcoming live-action movie 'The Jungle Book'.
Disney took to its Instagram account to share a short clip from the movie, where Mowgli can be seen wandering in a beautiful, lush jungle. The short clip perfectly captures the stunning jungle scenes, river surrounded by vegetation and Mowgli standing tall on a mangled tree branch, covered in vines.
Its first trailer is scheduled to release on September 14. The film, has been directed by Jon Favreau and follows a string of Disney's live action films like 'Alice in 'Wonderland', 'Cinderella' and 'Beauty & The Beast'.
The movie, is set to hit the theatres on April 15, 2016, and stars the young actor Neel Sethi as Mowgli and Sir Ben Kingsley as Bagheera.
Apart from this, the other star cast includes Scarlett Johansson as Kaa the snake, Christopher Walken as King Louie, Bill Murray as bear Baloo, Idris Elba as the villainous Shere Khan and Lupita Nyong'o as Raksha the wolf.
