Exclusive: Sanjay Dutt meets Aishwarya and Sanjay Gupta on sets of 'Jazbaa', gets emotional

The actor who is out on a 30-day parole has been spending quality time with family

Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt, who is serving a five-year jail term in a 1993 Mumbai blasts case, had been sanctioned 30 days parole by authorities after he cited his daughter's illness few weeks ago. The 56-year-old actor, who had returned to Yerawada Central Prison in January after a 14-day furlough, has been spending quality time with his family.

Earlier in the day today, Sanjay visited a doctor for a regular eye check up. On his way back, he received a call from director Sanjay Gupta requesting him to drop by the sets of 'Jazbaa'. As he happened to be close to the shooting location, the actor drove straight to the sets.
A source said, "The shooting came to a halt as soon as he walked on the set. All of them including Sanjay Gupta, Aishwarya and Ahmed Khan were involved in a deep conversation. He was absolutely emotional as he has been away from shooting since quite a long time."
The actor has collaborated with Sanjay Gupta on films like 'Musafir' and 'Kaante'. On the actor hand, Aishwarya and Sanjay Dutt have worked together in 'Shabd'.
Early this year, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his trusted friend Rajkumar Hirani were in talks of starring Ranbir Kapoor as the lead in the biopic that would focus on certain aspects of the actor's life, including his trials.
Convicted under the Arms Act for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 Mumbai blast case, Sanjay Dutt has been out of jail for 146 days, since his sentence began here in May 2013.
