Actor Siva Balaji, who is popular for films like Arya, Ashokgadi Love Story, Sambo Siva Sambo and Dost, has now decided to turn producer. He got a good script and decided to produce it. He is also playing one of the lead actors in it. Mahesh Uppluturi is the director while Ajay is playing the other lead in the film.
The film is all set to launch on September 23. “The story is based on a real incident that happened in the 80s. It is an interesting story revolving around two friends,” says Balaji.
He adds that the film is of a new genre. “I want to form a team and encourage new talent. That’s the reason I would like to start production,” he says.
“We are also making the film in the backdrop of the 80s, so we are planning to shoot the film in locations where we won’t get mobile towers, etc.,” says Balaji.
Ajay and he are playing friends and he has not yet decided on the female leads. They have planned to start shooting at Pochampally, mostly in the outskirts.
