With this app the citizens can themselves make a record of all traffic violations and report it to the police. The police only need to check the authenticity of the complaints and proceed with legal action. “Our aim is to bring more bring more discipline among the road users and ensure traffic rules are being followed diligently, which could reduce the number of accidents in the city,” said M.A. Saleem, Additional Commissioner of Police.

The city police would be helped to a greater extent by certain citizens themselves who download this app and report the traffic violations, he said. The Public Eye could help us a great deal to deter traffic violators, he added. The App is more user-friendly. The user has to click and send the violation photograph using his/her smart phone.
