Hyderabad: A Class X student died on Wednesday following a fight with a classmate at St Joseph’s School, King Koti. The fight had taken place at the school’s basketball court during lunch break on Tuesday. The boy suffered severe head injuries and died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital early on Wednesday.
Mohammed Aamir Sidique, a Class X student in section C, got into an argument with a boy from section A during the lunch break on Tuesday. The argument led to blows and Aamir was hit behind the head, on the temporal area.
A school staff member separated them, but Aamir had fallen unconscious by then. A nurse from the school dispensary was rushed to the spot and following first aid, Aamir was shifted to a nearby private hospital.
