Ever since the newage technology boom, the dynamics in publicity by film makers have changed by leaps and bounds. With the latest “selfie” craze especially amongst youngsters, the film team of Vasco Da Gama, a film revolving around the present educational system and the relationship between teacher and student, has come up with an idea to take full advantage of forthcoming Teacher’s Day by organising a “selfie competition.” Earlier, the team had released the trailer of the movie in more than 200 colleges across the state.
Students have been invited to take a selfie with their favourite teachers to be sent along with a few lines on why the teachers is so special to them, and how the teacher has inspired them. The team will select the best ones and distribute a prize on Teacher’s Day. The idea is being dedicated to former President late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
