Tourism department is contemplating to introduce 3 types of helicopter services

Tirupati: In a novel move, the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation proposes to start helicopter joy rides for pilgrims at the temple town to enjoy an aerial view of historical places and temples in Chittoor district.
Corporation officials are planning to start the joy rides from the Tirumala Srivari Bramhostavams scheduled to begin on September 16.
The tourism department is contemplating to introduce three types of helicopter services: from Chennai to Tirupati; temple visits to Kanipakam, Srikalahasti; and 20-minute joy rides.
APTDC officials will provide darshan to pilgrims at Tirumala to pilgrims who book a return trip from Chennai.
