What: The Rajkumar family celebrated Sandalwood superstar Shivaraj Kumar’s daughter Nirupama’s wedding on August 31. The bride, a doctor, looked radiant dressed up in her traditional wedding finery as she tied the knot with Dileep, who she met while studying medicine.
Where: The couple tied the knot as per Hindu rituals at Palace Grounds to huge crowds of family, friends and well-wishers. The newly-wed bride looked gorgeous in a gold silk saree. The complete Sandalwood fraternity was present to wish the couple — Upendra, Kiccha Sudeep, Darshan, Ganesh, Gurukiran, Ravichandran, Jayanthi, Sudharani, Ambika and many others, besides a bevy of politicians like Union Minister Ananth Kumar, SM Krishna, Veerappa Moily, DK Shivakumar were present at the grand wedding festivities that included a typical South Indian meal for the thousands gathered, over one lakh ladoos and lots more. A lavish reception was held at the same venue on Monday evening.
