Ilayathalapathy Vijay was in the news recently for his timely intervention with bailing Simbu out of the various issues faced by the latter’s long pending film Vaalu. The film was later released in a fair number of screens after he got in touch with a few distributors. The latest is that the Kaththi star is at it again — legendary comedian Goundamani’s comeback movie 49-O was supposed to release some time back as the crew has completed post-production earlier. Reportedly, though, the film was mired in a few issues. We hear that Vijay lent his help to ensure that the film has a smooth release. The movie will now hit the screens on September 17. Apparently, his Puli which is now releasing on October 1, was earlier expected to hit the marquee on September 17.
