Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was working on Bala’s period flick Tharai Thappattai for a while. The Poda Podi star who plays a karagattam dancer in the movie, also worked as an assistant director in it. Bala was all praise for her dedication and hard work then. The crew, which worked in various schedules in different locations, have wrapped up the shoot recently. But seems like Varu is very much in love with the process of filmmaking and has immense respect for technicians.
The actress posted a picture of hers in the avatar of an assistant director, posing with a movie camera and tweeted, “Life as an AD rocks..!! Respect to all the steady cam operators... U make us look good.”
