Ms Jayalalithaa said that R. Balu of Dharmapuri will be the new president of the IT wing

Chennai: Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary Ms J. Jayalalithaa has announced new office bearers for the party’s information technology (IT) wing. In a statement, here on Saturday, Ms Jayalalithaa said that R. Balu of Dharmapuri will be the new president of the IT wing.
N. Sharmila Vinothkumar and K. Anbuchezian, both from Chennai, have been appointed as vice-presidents. Prasanna Azhagarsamy, R. Rajmohan, G. Ramachandran and G. Karthikeyan will be joint secretaries.
The list of deputy secretaries, include, G.D. Thirumalavasan, T. Prasad, K. Shanmugavel, S. Balamurugan, K. Karthik, and S.T. Dharmesh Kumar will be the treasurer. Several of these office bearers are MBA graduates and a few have engineering degree too.
Ms Jayalalithaa urged all party cadres to extend their full support and cooperation to the newly appointed office-bearers. AIADMK started its IT wing 17 months ago to take the party’s achievements to youth and other tech savvy people through social media websites, besides WhatsApp and smartphones. Over three lakh persons registered on the party’s website www.aiadmk.com to join the party as members.
