‘Ranbir you’re trying to reach, is currently unavailable’

Ranbir has been inaccessible to Shoojit Sircar among other filmmakers wanting to get in touch with him

Ranbir Kapoor, who as we told you, has been carefully sifting through scripts after the debacle of Bombay Velvet, seems to be eluding Shoojit Sircar too. The Vicky Donor and Piku director apparently is keen to cast Ranbir in one of his films and has been consistently trying to get in touch with him for a narration, but has received no response from the actor. Blame it on his busy schedule or reluctance to take on everything that comes his way, the Kapoor boy certainly has been playing it difficult for anyone to get in touch with him.
A source close to Ranbir however revealed, “Ranbir did meet Shoojit very briefly last month, but he has a lot on his plate right now to carry forward a conversation about a new project and promise anything to a filmmaker even tentatively.”
One may have assumed it to be an easy battle for Shoojit after the success of Piku, but seems like Ranbir’s apprehension with new scripts has made him doubly picky.
