Penumaka (Guntur district): Countering the statements by various ministers and MPs in the past few days, film star Pawan Kalyan on Sunday said that though his Jana Sena may be an ally of the TD and BJP, he would oppose any “illegality” committed by the ruling parties.
Referring to minister R. Kishore Babu’s statement that there was no need to create a “ruckus for a mere 3,850 acres of land,” Mr Kalyan questioned why TD MP M. Murali Mohan moved court to save his plot of land from being acquired for the ORR in Hyderabad.
“Being an ally of the TD and BJP doesn’t mean I am a slave. I will not allow any illegalities. I opposed my elder brother, who is like a father to me, over state bifurcation. I will not remain silent if atrocities are committed,” Mr Kalyan said.
