BSE to suspend trading in 40 securities as a preventive measure

Trading in the 40 securities will be suspended with effect from August 27 until further notice, says BSE

Mumbai: The BSE Ltd on Monday announced that it has decided to suspend trading of stocks of 40 companies as an "interim preventive and remedial measure".

"Based on the parameters provided by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and under provisions of Rules, Bye-laws and Regulation of the Exchange, as an interim preventive and remedial measure and to maintain orderly development in the securities market, trading in the 40 securities will be suspended with effect from August 27 until further notice," BSE said in a statement here.

These companies includes Advent Computer Services, Alka India, Boston Bio Systems, Devika Proteins, Fast Track Entertainment, Gujarat Credit Corporation, Gujchem Distillers India, Kapil Cotex, Mangalam Industrial Finance, Margo Finance, Premium Capital Market, Radhe Developers, Rajasthan Gases, Sumeru Industries, Venus Universal, Mapro Industries, Pearl Electronics and Zodiac Ventures.
