K Chandrasekhar Rao to visit China

Telangana is in need of power equipment immediately to execute power plants
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will visit China from September 9 to 15. Ministers K.T. Rama Rao and Jupally Krishna Rao along with a delegation of officials and industrialists would accompany the Chief Minister in a special flight. He will take part in the annual meeting of World Econ-omic Forum to be held in Dalian from September 9 to 11.
The WEF had extended invitation to Mr Rao recently for its annual meeting of the
"new champions".
The government of China’s Sichuan province has also invited Mr Rao to visit Chengdu, Sichuan province, to promote business and cultural cooperation between the two, especially, to purchase power equipment.
Telangana is in need of power equipment immediately to execute power plants. Sichuan invited Mr Rao to sign an MoU for purchasing power equipment.
The invitation was extended to Rao to strengthen friendly relations between Telangana State and Sichuan province. Phillip Rosier, managing director and member of the managing board of the Switzerland-based WEF sent a letter to the CM inviting him for the meeting.
Mr Rosier said given the unique challenging task of administering inclusive growth in India's newly-formed Telangana State, the CM's views will add great value to the
conversations on infrastructure development, urbanization and innovation led development.
The CM was also requested to bring a business delegation of non-forum member companies to actively participate in the deliberations.
