Remya Nambeesan, who was last seen in the Arulnidhi-starrer Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum, will be romancing Vijay Sethupathi, once again, after Pizza, in Sethupathi. We heard that she is excited to be a part of the film and expressed her happiness to share the screen with Vijay for the second time. According to a source, Vijay will be playing a cop in the film, which will be devoid of any commercial elements. It will portray the troubles faced by cops.
It is said that the makers have zeroed in on Remya as they felt she’s apt for the role. “Her character has equal importance as that of the hero in the film. Set in Madurai, it is a full-on action film. The plot showcases the bravery and honesty of a policeman, reflecting the essence of reality. The shooting will begin in September,” said the source.
The film’s director Arun Kumar and Vijay share a good rapport with each other since their time together in Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum. Writer Vela Ramamurthy plays an important role in Sethupathi, which will have music by Thegidi fame Nivas K Prasanna.
