In the process of casting for his film Son Of Sardar 2, Ajay does not rule out the possibility of working with top heroines

Ajay Devgn, known to be a man of few words, lives up to his reputation each time we speak to him. When asked about the casting for the sequel of Son Of Sardar that released in 2012, the actor-turned-producer said, “I haven’t finalised the actress for the film as of now. But a fresh casting would work.”
While Ajay is tight-lipped about the casting and claims to be contemplating featuring fresh faces for the project, word is out that Bollywood’s leading ladies Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are the two big names being considered for the film at the moment. When prodded about the likelihood of the girls playing the female lead in place of Sonakshi Sinha (who starred in the original film), the actor only shrugged and said, “Why not?”
Said a source, “Ajay is understandably not wanting to speak about the casting of Son Of Sardar 2 just yet. If Deepika and Katrina are roped in, it’ll be a casting coup of sorts. Getting Deepika or Katrina at this time in the same frame as Ajay is a big deal and he wants to keep the news under wraps (if it works out) at the moment. He is currently neck-deep in work with the shooting of Shivaay, but will make a formal announcement regarding Son Of Sardar 2 very soon.”
