Over 100 people from the Parsi community in Hyderabad got together to celebrate the New Year on Tuesday morning. “Both members from the Chenoy Temple and the Viccajee temple in Secunderabad were present,” says Amraity, one of the members present at the temple. Explaining the festivities, she says, “Navroze is incomplete without Sev, a sweet dish that we make in the morning. Then all of us meet up for a ‘Jashn’ ceremony at the temple. Dinner is going to be at the Zorastrian Club,” she says.
