Actor Riteish Deshmukh and his wife, actress Genelia D’Souza, were in Bangkok and on the opposite side of the road, when a bomb exploded outside a Hindu temple killing 27 people on Monday.
Genelia was in the Thai capital to shoot for a commercial. The actress took to Twitter to tell to let everyone know that both she and Riteish were safe and unhurt. She tweeted, “Good morning..Thank you all for the concern.. Just to inform you we are safe.. #Thankgod4smallmercies.”
Riteish even uploaded a video on twitter, where ambulances can be seen rushing to the area to pick up victims.
